This CD-ROM is organized into fonts for the Macintosh and fonts
for the IBM compatible PC. This file explains what is in the
"Mac" folder. Consult the "PC fonts Read Me" for information on
the "PC" directory.
The "Mac" folder has four different types/organizations of fonts.
Double click on the HyperCard Stack "Font Viewer" to view the
fonts and read about their history and usage. The "Font Viewer"
can be used as a valuable resource in selecting and using these
fonts properly.
We recommend the use of an up-to-date SYSTEM resource INIT
such as Suitcase or Font Juggler for installing this large set of fonts.
Ñ MAC PS - a folder of 125 fonts in PostScript Type One Format
Each font is organized into font family folders.
Each font that has a screen font and a printer font.
(Works with PostScript printers and ATM)
Ñ ALL PS - a folder of 125 fonts in PostScript Type One Format
The file "allfonts" can be found in the "ALL PS" directory
with all the printer fonts and the AFM files.
All the fonts are organized together and all the fonts can be
can be installed at once. IT IS NOT ADVISABLE TO COPY
ALL THE FONTS INTO YOUR SYSTEM! SYSTEM PERFORMANCE
WILL DEGRADE AND MEMORY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE
SYSTEM WILL CLIMB (if it works at all).
